Council to hold meeting in Queensborough

One of city council’s meetings will be held at the Queensborough Community Centre in 2013.

Coun. Jonathan Coté proposed leaving city hall for one session for two reasons.

He said a scheduled meeting for Queensborough last year had to be cancelled and he heard complaints from a number of residents. He also said it would be an opportunity to show off the centre which is currently being expanded.

“It’s a good opportunity to showcase the building and also make some connections with that neighbourhood,” said Coté.
