Worker injured at Agassiz rim plant
A worker was injured at the Rimex plant in Agassiz just before noon on Thursday, requiring the Medi-vac to take him to Royal Columbian Hospital.
A witness on scene said the man injured was walking and talking directly after the incident, in which his head was hit by a swinging piece of machinery.
The patient was being transported by the air ambulance due to the nature of the injuries. The air ambulance landed in the parking lot at Rimex, and an ambulance transported the patient from the plant out to the parking lot.
