Late night fire in Oyama

Firefighters were called to an early morning fire at a riding stable in Oyama last Wednesday. Crews from Oyama and Winfield responded to a 4:30 a.m. call and stayed on scene until 9:00 a.m. to extinguish the inferno. Fire Chief Steve Windsor says the loss is estimated at $350,000.
