Summerland United Church is preparing its choir for the Community Carol Fest Nov. 29.

Music director Chris Barron would like some additional voices.

If you like to sing, in a group, but you haven’t yet found one with which you are comfortable, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the United Church choir.

Barron has directed a number of musical productions in Summerland. One of the most memorable being, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. It was so popular it was staged twice.

If the idea of singing with our choir at the Christmas Carol Fest interests you, call Barron at 250-494-1676 with any questions you have.

Nov. 28 is the day of our pre-Christmas bazaar. Those who drop in may find several things that are just what they need at this time of year.

Sunday Service is at 10 a.m. Following the service we have a fellowship hour with coffee, tea, or juice, and cookies. It’s a good time to meet friends, make some new acquaintances, especially if you are new in town.

If you come with your children, there are activities for them. All will be welcomed.
