Skydiving

Those looking for an adrenalin rush will definitely find it at the Abbotsford Skydive Centre. Whether jumping in tandem or solo, the view of Abbotsford from 12,500 feet is unlike any other in the area.The Abbotsford Skydive Centre offers jumps and lessons for experienced jumpers and first-timers. Free-fall photography makes it even more memorable. It’s open seven days a week from March to October.

Waterskiing and wakeboarding

Abbotsford’s scenic countryside and parklands provide great spaces for outside fun and recreation. Residents head to Albert Dyck Memorial Park to water-ski, swim and fish.

The Abbotsford Exhibition Park features a cricket pitch, soccer and rugby fields, and a quartet of ball diamonds for slo-pitch and baseball.

If terms like ollie and kick flip are more your thing, check out the $500,000 skateboard park at Abbotsford Recreation Centre, 34890 Old Yale Road. It’s one of the best in the province.
