May 18: Born to Josh and Jess Gutknecht of Sherwood Park, Alta., a boy, 8 lbs. 15 oz., named Channing Luca. A brother for Preston, 3 1/2; Cambrea, 20 months. A grandson for Kevin and Helen Gutknecht of Vernon, B.C.; Reiny Mueller, the late Joanne Mueller of Edmonton, Alta. A great-grandson for Bruno and Elaine Gutknecht of Vernon.

May 20: Born to Brodie Guy and Jessica Wilford of Vancouver, a boy, 7 lbs. 1  oz., named Carwyn Roscoe Guy. A grandson for Dwight and Karen Guy of Vernon; the late Jeannie Wilford (née McHale of Williams Lake. A great-grandson for John Wilford of Chilliwack.

May 20: Born to Todd and Dara Roberts of Vernon, a boy, 7 lbs. 8 oz., named Theron Bryce Roberts. A grandson for Barb and Dennis Mitchell of Vernon; Brenda and Wayne Legere of Cranbrook; Ross and Faye Roberts of Kamloops; Dawn and Ken Gardiner of Victoria. May 22: Born to Shawn and Jade Lafond of Vernon, B.C., a boy, 7 lbs. 8 oz., named Dominic Joseph. A grandson for JoAnne and Eric Sjodin, Larry Lafond and Cheri Folkedahl, all of Sicamous, Carole Lafond of Salmon Arm. A great-grandson for Marilyn Chow of Sicamous.

May 26: Born to Tamara Cox and Dave Schroeder of Coldstream, a girl, 5 lbs. 9 oz., named Isla Victoria-Marie Schroeder. A sister for Kayla, 10.
