Learn online safety for kids April 27 in Mission

Parents can talk to their children about Internet safety at an upcoming event, hosted by the Mission founder of the Safe Online Society (SOLO).
The presentation offers information about online basics, emerging trends, examples of positive technology use, an overview of gaming and its influence, plus tangible suggestions for parenting wired kids.
The April 23 meeting happens at 7 p.m. at the Clarke Theatre, located at 33700 Prentis Ave. Admission is free with a food bank donation.
