Abbotsford faith event looks at life and death
Pre-registration is required by Jan. 31 for a faith event taking place Tuesday, Feb. 5 in Abbotsford.
"Bridges of Faith: Thoughts and Practices on Birth and Death" is hosted by the Diversity Education and Resource Services program at Abbotsford Community Services.
Members of various faith communities will speak about their beliefs and practices surrounding birth and death. Also included is a question-and-answer session with presenters, a children's program for ages three to 10, and refreshments.
The program is being held during Interfaith Harmony Week (the first week of February), a United Nations initiative that began in 2007.
