Zero Tolerance: bullying workshop

On Feb. 9, Paradigm Ministries will hold a day-long workshop, Zero Tolerance: Standing-up Against Bullying and Abuse at the New Life Church.

The event will feature guest speakers on a variety of topics, ranging from domestic violence, cyber bullying and the impact of trauma on the brain.

Kamal Dhillon, survivor of domestic violence and best-selling author of Black & Blue Sari, will give a talk about surviving domestic abuse along with her daughter, Amy Dhillon.

David Collins, founder of Paradigm Ministries, will give a talk how to make changes to end bullying and abuse, and how to make that change sustainable.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $75 and include a buffet lunch. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit http://zerotolerance.eventbrite.ca.
