Open house and tree chipping at Black Creek Community Centre

Have you ever been curious to find out what takes place at the Black Creek Community Centre?  What are you going to do with your dried up Christmas tree?  Well, on Jan. 5 kill two birds with one stone.

From 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., the Black Creek Community Association (BCCA) is offering a chance to learn about our fitness centre access system and "Bring a Friend" promotion, and look at our equipment. The Open House will be a free, fun and social opportunity to try the fitness centre out, participate in some of our classes, and get you off to a good start to meet your 2013 fitness goals.

As well Fitness Room Orientations with Candice Spain will start at 11 a.m.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., "Recycle to Cycle" will be happening outside in the parking lot at the BCCA.  Chipping is done by donation and all funds raised on the Saturday will go directly in to purchasing a new Spin Bike for the Fitness Room.

The office will be open during the Open House and Tree Chipping to register for classes and to purchase fitness room passes. A full selection of BCCA classes, events and workshops can be viewed in the activity guide on the website at  www.bccaonline.ca.

The Black Creek Community Centre is located at 2001 Black Creek Road. Call if you have questions or require further information 250-337-5190.
