FATE photography has been capturing cherished memories behind the camera for the last 10 years and have now started to pave the way for the next generation of virtual tours.

After relocating to the Kootenays, Sherry Moores and Randy Lebedow have been specializing in all things photography from weddings to portraits.

They have now opened up a new door for their company specializing as the Kootenays only full-service virtual tour company.

“We’re really the only ones in B.C with this technology, it allows us to create 360 degree virtual tours of any kind of location, no one’s doing this in the area,” said Lebedow.

“The tours are used very effectively for new businesses like restaurants and hotels as well as real-estate tours, construction progress and insurance uses.”

The Dowvan Group, a division of FATE photography run by Moores and Lebedow is paving the way in the realm of photography in the Kootenay’s and in the province.

They hold exclusive rights to specialized software and knowledge of their specific virtual tour technology.

The 360-degree panorama tours are affordable and will eventually be the norm for off-site tours of various venues.

As photographers FATE is coming off another busy summer season and have some of their services booked into 2011.

Their portfolio of work is a collection of moments that capture the essence and beauty of their scenes.

They have recently opened a seasonal holiday portrait studio in downtown trail at 1396 Cedar Ave.

Individual, family and holiday portraits are available until the end of the holiday season.

“For our holiday pictures we can take photo’s as late as Dec. 10, but we recommend you come in earlier before we are fully booked,” said Lebedow.

“We’ve been booked for the last two years straight with weddings and portraitures, but it’s been a blast.”
