Dear Editor,
Once again the Golden Women’s Resource Centre (GWRC) is celebrating women in Golden and surrounding area at our fourth annual Starlight Soiree. We are encouraging residents to nominate one or more women that you deem outstanding by filling out a form at the GWRC or by emailing your nominee to mtnwomyn@uniserve.com. Your nominee can be any woman who is important to you (your friend, wife, teacher, etc.) The winner will be selected by random draw during the Starlight Soiree on Thursday, November 26th at the Civic Centre. Feel free to drop off a photo of your nominee to add to our window display at the Women’s Centre on 9th avenue across from 7 Eleven.
Tickets for the event will be available at the centre for $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Looking forward to seeing you there and celebrating our women together.
