We can’t thank the over 110 volunteers who have helped to make this years quest for fresh produce a huge success. The Gleaners have identified over 90 fruit trees inside the Town of Golden – what a resource! This is how much produce was gathered and distributed at the Golden Food Bank because of all your help!
Watch out for our new logo, brochures, & posters!
This initiative was funded through UBCM’s Community Health Promotion Fund in 2008. Through much collaboration and hard work you will now start seeing the fruit of the Golden Food Bank’s marketing committee’s endeavours. Thank you so much to Renee Mirehouse (GFB vice chair) who has pulled it through to the eleventh hour to get this project completed. Also, the many members of the marketing committee in 2008 and 2009 who have been contributing to this project!
