BC Hydro: Planned power outage next weekend

A planned power outage will be occurring in Golden on November 8, 2009.
The outage is required to complete the tie-in of a new, relocated line required for the widening of the Trans Canada Hwy east of Golden.
As a result, it will be necessary to interrupt electrical service to Golden and surrounding area customers on Sunday, November 8, 2009 starting at 4:00 a.m. to approximately 8:00 a.m.
For information during the outage customers can contact BC Hydro at 1 888 POWERON (1 888 769- 3766). The service interruption is required to ensure that the work can be completed safely and BC Hydro will work to restore the power as quickly as possible.
This maintenance work meets BC Hydro’s long-term goals, which include an ongoing commitment to safety and providing reliable service to its customers. BC Hydro regrets any inconvenience to its customers and will restore service as quickly as possible.
