At around 5 p.m. on June 15, police were called to the 1700 Block of Campbell Road to find a deceased male in a vehicle a short distance up a forest service road in the area.
According to Sergeant Troy Durand of the Golden/Field RCMP, no foul play is suspected in the death, though an investigation into the cause of death is being conducted with the Coroner's office.
Durand said the finding was reported to the RCMP by some passers-by who noticed the vehicle and made the grizzly discovery.
The deceased's next of kin have been notified, but a name and age will not be released until the Coroner's report is sent back to the RCMP.
