Revelstoke loses opening game of bantam hockey tournament

The Revelstoke Grizzlies fell 4-2 to the Kamloops Mavericks in the opening game of this weekend's Revelstoke bantam hockey tournament.
The hard fought game featured end-to-end action, with Revelstoke pressing especially hard and generating chance after chance in the third period.
The seven-team tournament runs all weekend long. Revelstoke takes on Winfield at 6 p.m. Friday, Beaver Valley at 6 a.m. Saturday, and Rocky Mountain House at 4 p.m. Saturday.
The final is scheduled is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday.
