Revelstoke native Bart Jarmula hits the water on his way to a third place overall finish at the season-ending Coast Mountain Sports Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race in Cumberland, B.C. last weekend. He was bested only by hometown favorite Jeremy Grasby, of Cumberland, who finished first overall, and Team Frontrunners, consisting of Norman Thibault of Nanaimo and Graham Cocksedge of Powell River. Competitors race solo, or in teams of two or four. There were 360 participants in the race, competing either solo or in teams of two or four. The race involved kayaking on Comox Lake and mountain biking, trekking, and orienteering on the Cumberland trails.
