New flu clinics annouced for West Kootenay

The Interior Health Authority has announced new flu clinics in the West Kootenay. The criteria for those seeking the H1N1 shot has been expanded.
he clinics will provide H1N1 vaccination to those at highest risk of serious complications (see below) from H1N1 flu virus, as well as the seasonal flu shot to those 65 years and older and those at risk of health complications from the flu.
Note: The eligibility criteria has expanded to include all health care workers, first responders, children and teens 5 – 18 years inclusive, and seniors with chronic health conditions.
Communities with clinics the week of November 16th:
Castlegar Monday November 16th at Kinnaird Park Church, 1250 26th Street, from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Kaslo Tuesday November 17th at the JV Humphries Gym from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Midway Friday November 20th
Nelson Wednesday November 18th at the PRestige Lakeside Resort from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Trail Thursday November 19th at the Memorial Centre from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
