The Castlegar Rebels embarressed the Leafs, beating them 4-0 on Leaf's home ice Sept. 25.

The Leafs had played Castlegar once in regular season and twice in exhibition games, never letting more than one goal in their net. Perhaps they were over confident meeting the Rebels again.

Castlegar made two unanswered goals in the first period, and the second ticked pass without any scoring.

In the final minutes of the third, Castlegar slid two more past Leafs goalie Matt Larose.

Despite not making a score, Leafs player Jacob Perich was named the top star on the game.
