The New Future Building Group has reported a record grand opening housings for sales results of a new development for Kutenai Landing (Inc.), located in Nelson.

The Kamloops-based builder worked diligently for years with committee members and The City of Nelson to develop his vision of this spectacular waterfront site in beautiful Nelson.

On Oct. 2-4, Kutenai Landing’s Phase I, “Kokanee”, consisting of 64 steel and concrete condominium homes, was released to the general public for sale and is already 35 per cent sold with more than 20 homes purchased in just three days.

The unique Kootenay Lake property is situated between Nelson’s famous downtown Baker St., and Chahko Mika mall, and The Prestige Inn.

The complete site plan is proposed to be four buildings, a lake boardwalk/dock, private marina and commercial lakeside amenities.

“The successful response to weekend sales are an indication of a positive turn in the real estate market, our unique quality product, value and location,” said NFBG president Mike Rink.

“Because of pent up demand and this winning combination, we anticipate a steady pace of sales for the remainder of 2009.”

New Future Building Group currently has eight projects underway in various stages throughout B.C.’s most popular Interior/Okanagan destinations.
