Ice win the fights but continue to lose the game 3-1 after two periods against Swift Current

Ice trail 3-1 heading into the second period.

Swift Current's Adam Lowry gets a penalty for a hit from behind and then has a fight with Cason Machacek, who stands up for his fallen teammate.

Stickland gets a breakaway on the penalty kill, as the puck back to the point goes over the stick of the Ice defenseman.

Kootenay's Ryan Molle dings the puck off the post and into the crowd.

Molle jumps Stickland from behind after the former Ice player hit Czerwonka and a full fledged brawl breaks out at the RecPlex.

Kootenay's Joey Leach knocks out Reece Scarlett with a hard right hand that drops the Bronco player in a pool of his own blood at centre ice.

Swift Current ends up with a four minute power play. Ice lose captain Dustin Sylvester and Leach for the rest of the game with game misconducts, while Swift Current loses Derek Claffey and Scarlett for the remainder of the game.

Drew Czerwonka picks up a penalty for tripping at the blue line on a seemingly innoucous play. Broncos get a two man advantage for a full two minutes.

Eakin gets a strong slap shot from the point but King blocks the shot.

Swifty's Taylor Vause gets the puck at the side of an open Ice net but can't score.

Mathews stops a wrist shot from the Broncs' Cody Eakin in clsoe.

Ice kill of the two man advantage.

Kootenay gets a power play on the too many men on the ice penalty on Swift Current.

Mathews makes a great save on a wrist shot from Andy Blanke.

Mathews continues his solid play stopping Cody Eakin at point blank.

The second period ends with no scoring and the score remains at 3-1 for Swift Current.
