Regina doesn't stand Pat, as they cut the Ice lead to 2-1 after two periods

Ice head into the second period up 2-0 on the Regina Pats.

King finds Reinhart at the Pat blueline, but Damien Ketlo stops the shot from Reinhart.

Mathews makes a great save on a one timer from Thomas Hricina.

Brendan Hurley goes hard to the net for Kootenay and collides with the Pat goalie.

Ice press hard - Drew Czerwonka gets a backhand in close but misses the net.

Ryan Molle picks up the Ice's first penalty of the game at 5:50 of the second period.

Mathews makes a nice blocker save on a point shot from Colten Teubert of Regina.

Strueby makes a nice pass across the slot, but Jordan Eberle's shot is deflected out of bounds.

Cody Carlson of Regina gets a solid shot from the point, but is stopped by Mathews.

Ice get a three on two right after the penalty to Molle ends, but Slyvester's wrist shot is handled by Ketlo.
