Warrant for third shooting suspect

RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for their third suspect in the Oct. 29 Sam Steele shooting.

Police are now looking for Kevin William Winters, 51. He’s also charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a man outside the Sam Steele Inn. Winters is described as 5’8” and about 300lbs with grey hair and brown eyes. He had a long goatee, which police believe might be shaved off by now. He’s considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Cranbrook RCMP at 250-489-3471 or Crimestoppers, 1-800-222-TIPS.

Already charged in the shooting are Doug Mahon, 38, and Donald Faid, 55.
