What will you be?
Published: October 07, 2008 1:00 PMAs we turn the calendar to October, our minds go to thinking about what we want to dress up like for Halloween?
Besides Christmas and birthdays, this is one of the best days of the year for a child.
To that end, the Invermere Business Committee (IBC) is again providing a fun evening for the whole family on Friday, Oct. 31 at the Invermere Community Hall.
The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and go until around 9. There will be games and activities for all ages as well as music to dance to. All children will leave with their loot bag full of candy and toys. The IBC will be handing out a number of random spotlight prizes, so you never know who will win or what your prize will be.
This is the second year the IBC has hosted this event, and they have added a few things to make the evening even more enjoyable than it was last year. There will be a $1 charge per person, with kids under five free.
And there are rumours that there may be a haunted house.
The IBC welcomes all families to dress up and step out for a spooky good time this Halloween.
