The Travis Green Community Golf Tournament is a week away and the fairways will be full.
Pat Metge, event coordinator, said 160 golfers are signed up for the tournament and there is now a waiting list.
If people wish to sign up for the waiting list, they can still do so by putting their name down at the Castlegar and District Community Complex.
Metge said everything is going smooth and he is pleased with how the tournament is shaping up.
The community golf tournament is set for July 10.
Starting tee time is at 11 a.m. and the tournament will finish around 11 p.m.
Some of the big names scheduled to attend the community tournament include, Pat Price, Gord Walker, Ray Ferraro, Steve Junker, Pat Ryan, Kevin McKenzie, Dean Horning and Travis Green among others.
The emcee for the day will be John Mckeachie — long-time broadcaster with the CTV and host of various radio shows.
