Columbia Power president and CEO, Barry Chuddy, resigned from his position as of July 3.

Debbie Martin, vice-president of human resources for Columbia Power Corporation, said Chuddy's resignation was for personal and family reasons.

According to Martin, Chuddy was president of Columbia Power for approximately two years.

He was very instrumental in advancing the Waneta Expansion Project and Martin said that was probably Chuddy's most significant contribution during his tenure with the company.

Vice-president of project implementation for Columbia Power Corporation, Giulio Ambrosone and vice-president of sales and development for Columbia Power Corporations have been appointed joint presidents and chief executive officers by the board of directors.

"Mr. Ambrosone and Mr. Jmaeff bring years of service and experience to their shared role. The continued advancement of the Waneta Expansion Project will be the focus of their joint leadership," stated a press release issued by Columbia Power Corporation.
