Up, up and ... bump?

The Nakusp Secondary Grade 8 girls volleyball team held their first play day of the season last Thursday. Teams travelled to Nakusp from Trafalgar Middle School in Nelson and Mt. Sentinel. The Nakusp team played fi ve matches, equating to 10 games, winning eight out of their 10 games. Coach Lisa Ante says the play day was full of excitement, lots of shrieking and cheers. Three Grade 11 girls, Chantel Fisher, Devon Leitch and Hailey McLeod volunteered their time to referee the play day and Ante thanked them for the organization and leadership throughout the event.
