Father and daughter in serious condition after motorcycle crash

An crash near Edgewood involving a car and a motorcycle has sent the driver of the motorcycle and his passenger to hospital with serious injuries.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 27 on Highway 6 near the turnoff to Edgewood.
A 56-year-old Surrey man and his 15-year-old daughter were transported to Arrow Lakes Hospital where they were stabilized before being transported to another hospital outside the area for further treatment.
The driver of the vehicle, a 47-year-old male from Kelowna, was not sent to hospital.
Cpl. Barbara Vincent of the Nakusp RCMP Detachment says the cause of the incident remains unknown at this point and is still under investigation.
The West Kootenay Traffic Services analyst section from Nelson will assist the Nakusp detachment in their investigation to determine the cause.
