A hard-working, single mother of two deserves a makeover. Especially when that hard-working mom happens to be Janine Fieldgate from the North Shore Outlook, creator of the "Celebrate You" feature!

We thought Janine deserved some pampering since she had pulled out all the stops each month in pulling this spread together, so we nominated her for a first-hand experience of being one of our subjects. Because Janine has such a fun, flirtatious personality, we all wanted to create a funky, urban look that would transition her into fall.

First, Matthew from Hennessey Salon transformed her into a fabulous Redken redhead with a trendy blunt bob.

Using this sassy new 'do' for inspiration, we then dressed her in fall layers, starting with a fun tweed bomber jacket with fur-lined hood by Sakura.

Next we chose a flirty short little nylon Mexx skirt with side zipper, and then could not resist putting one of this season's hottest accessories with it...a pair of plaid tights!

A must in every woman's closet are the fabulous layering pieces by Metalicus. This Australian line has it all: comfort, style, onesize-fits-all, and great for travel basics-to-fashion pieces.

For Janine we chose a pop of colour with a bright purple vest layered over a basic halfsleeve t-shirt in light vanilla. The crimson red scarf added a gorgeous contrast to the purple, and was a fantastic complement to Janine's new hairstyle.

And who doesn't want a new pair of boots for fall? We swooned when she slid her feet into this fabulous pair of black leather boots from Ingeldew's, which practically made the outfit. A 'Dayton' look combined with a bit of a slouch in the puckered leather complete with silver buckle detail makes them the perfect casual boot for the season.

For jewelry we just had to put a Gillian Julius bracelet on her wrist. This multi-cord bracelet with sterling silver tubes is creating tons of buzz for its originality. We topped off the look with more silver pieces from Espaco Bijoux (Brazil).

When we stood back, all we could say is, "does she ever look hot!" And yes gentlemen, she is available...
