A's take series lead over Jr. ’Bellies

So far the B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League final has been a homer series, which isn't good news for the New Westminster Jr. Salmonbellies.

The hometown Coquitlam Adanacs downed the Jr. ’Bellies 11-7 Sunday to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 4 is at Queen's Park Arena on Tuesday, 8 p.m, with Game 5 back in Coquitlam on Wednesday.

The A's held period leads of 3-2 and 7-4 thanks in large part to Ben McIntosh potting tree goals and assisting on two. Daniel McQuade had a six-point night including two goals. Other New West markers were scored by Mark Negrin, Brandon Goodwin, Matt MacGrotty, Justin Salt and Kevin Crowley.
