The Burnaby Express acquired two players and in a three-team B.C. Hockey League deal last Friday.
Express head coach Dave McLellan got forwards Dan Korreale and Konrad Sander from the Nanaimo Clippers and gave up forward Cody Bremner and veteran defenceman Greg Bay. Earlier that day, the Clippers picked up Sander and Korreale from the Prince George Spruce Kings.
The 2009-10 BCHL schedule released Monday has the Express opening the season Sept. 11 at Cowichan Valley and their first home game Sept. 19 when the Powell River Kings visit Bill Copeland Arena.
They will play 10 home games on Saturdays, eight on Fridays, six on Sundays and three on Wednesdays.
