Tough intro
Published: July 02, 2008 4:00 PMBurnaby’s Katrina Leckovic had a tough introduction to the Ladies Professional Golf Association tour.
Leckovic missed the cut at the U.S. Women’s Open in Edina, Minn., last week when she shot 15-over-par 81-80-161 in the first two rounds. She made it into the tournament by surviving two qualifying tournaments in the spring.
Leckovic hopes to play a second time on the LPGA tour later this year at the Canadian Women’s Open.
