Ban cell phones while driving

So police chiefs want a ban on cell phone use while driving a car.

It’s about time.

People say that it poses no threat, but if you’re one of the other people around those cell phone users as they drive, you surely notice the difference. Just the other day I was following someone and it took them an amazingly long time to change lanes as they babbled on the phone. They were steering, holding the phone with their shoulder, signalling and moving.

Wonder if they shoulder checked? It’s about time that people got back to driving—and only driving.

No books, no laptops, no dogs on their lap. Just plain old driving and paying attention.

Driving is not a right, it’s a privilege.
