NewsLeader in search of miracles
Updated: December 02, 2009 3:42 PM
Miracles. They happen all the time. All around us.
We're not talking about the parting-the-Red-Sea, or the walking-on-water kind of miracles, but the kind that happen surprisingly often in today's world.
Some readers out there have had miracles happen in their lives in 2009. Or maybe someone they know has. The NewsLeader is hoping these people will share their stories. We don't want to pre-judge what those miracles may have been, but a significant reversal of fortunes (for the better!) is usually the kind of thing we're talking about.
Chances are, if a miracle has happened to you or someone you know this year, you don't need any prodding to know what we're talking about.
Why are we seeking these stories? Well, we'd like to share a few of them—as many as we can—in our Christmas Eve edition (Dec. 24), a good a time to share stories of hope and joy.
Ready to share? OK. Here's what we need you to do. Email us, and write a line or two (or as many as you need) to tell us a little about your miracle. Or you can mail or drop it off to: Miracles, c/o The NewsLeader, 7438 Fraser Park Dr., Burnaby, V5J 5B9. Deadline for submissions is Friday, Dec. 11 at 5 p.m.
