New Westminster Police and Burnaby RCMP investigators teamed up to arrest a busy break and enter suspect this week. It's believed he was responsible for break and enters at numerous businesses, schools and government agencies in both cities.
The arrest of the 33-year-old man of no fixed address was the result of a joint task force with officers from both forces investigating break and enters in the New Westminster-Burnaby corridor. Criminal intelligence, video surveillance and forensic identification ultimately led to the arrest.
The suspect currently faces four counts of break and enter and theft. It is expected that additional charges will be filed.
