Braid Street fire damages industrial business

Fire officials believe a welder's torch accidentally started a fire which has caused thousands of dollars of damage at a Braid Street business.

Coquitlam Fire/Rescue was called at 10:10 a.m. with reports of a blaze at 25 Braid St., and according to Deputy Chief Al Dutton, three pumpers and one truck company responded.

No injuries were reported, and investigators are continuing to work at the site.
