Two men have been arrested following a targeted home invasion last Wednesday.
On July 22, at about 11:30 p.m., two men entered an apartment in the 800 block of Royal Avenue and tied up a man inside for three hours. The two men attempted to flee the building after the victim became untied, but were located and arrested in the area after police received a 911 call.
The victim sustained minor injuries, and through the course of the investigation police learned this was not a random event and that the occupant within the suite was targeted.
Arrested were Steven Sugrim, 29, and Meharam Sugrim, 58, both of Vancouver are charged with several offences including robbery, forcible confinement and assault.
