New Westminster’s Caitlin Zaleschuk was the winner of the People’s Choice award last weekend at the Miss B.C. pageant held in Fort Langley.
The People’s Choice award goes to the contestant who earns the most online votes.
Zaleschuk, who aspires to be a paramedic, was one of 29 women entered in the pageant.
Former television actress Bryn Ward, also from New Westminster, was one of the judges.
