After nearly a decade of presenting spring and fall parades of homes, the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association has re-branded the popular consumer event as Open House: A Showcase of New Homes, spotlighting the latest advancements in home design and construction technology.
Until Oct. 4, some of the Lower Mainland’s most prominent builders will feature 57 showhomes at 26 homesites in eight municipalities — Anmore, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Langley, Maple Ridge, New Westminster, Richmond and Surrey.
The 15 participating builders are Adera, Ambros, Boffo, Clay, Cressey, Domani, Foxridge, Intracorp, Morningstar, ParkLane, Polygon, Portrait, Sonoma, Vesta and Wallmark.
The event offers a range of home types and prices, from a $197,900 space-efficient Cloverdale condo to a luxurious, custom-built home in Anmore, offered at nearly $1.3 million.
Open house hours are Monday to Thursday, 1-5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon - 5 p.m. Some builders might choose to open Friday, but confirm with the builder before visiting.
