New West pipe band to play Thursday nights in local parks

The New Westminster Police Pipe Band will be holding a series of outdoor rehearsals as they prepare for the World Championships in Scotland this August. This renowned pipe band has competed in numerous international competitions. The rehearsals will all be 7-9 p.m. at the following locations: Grimston Park (July 2), Moody Park (July 9), Sapperton Park (July 16) and Hume Park (July 23).
