Century House Association has recognized the important benefits of the new youth centre by donating $20,000 to the fundraising campaign that will furnish and equip the youth centre. New Westminster’s first civic facility dedicated to serving the needs of youth in the community will be connected to Century House, and is now under construction. The youth centre’s co-location with Century House is aimed at providing unique opportunities for inter-generational programming aimed at fostering mutual respect, trust and understanding between youth and older adults.
