Win a 'pimped out' Hummer

Last Door Recovery Centre in New Westminster is celebrating its 25th anniversary and part of the celebrations includes a raffle for a “pimped out” Hummer SUV.
The 1996 Hummer has been customized by Valley Custom Rods and Visions Electronics and is valued at $80,000.
The raffle is part of the Door Slam 2009 event being put on by the recovery centre.
It runs Aug. 28-30 and includes a slo-pitch tournament being held at Moody, Queen’s and Terry Hughes parks in New West.
Over 27 recovery teams from throughout the Lower Mainland and the U.S. will be playing.
There will be a Kids Zone from noon to 4 p.m. and a charity pig barbecue at Moody Park Aug. 29.
That evening Last Door will also hold its annual Door Slam ‘80s Dance at St. Michael’s Serbian Centre.
It features dancing and a talent show showcasing six local recovery programs performing ‘80s classics.
