Burnaby native Steve Kindel exacted a small measure of revenge on his former team, the Vancouver Whitecaps, at Swangard Stadium on Saturday night.
Kindel, who recently joined the Rochester Rhinos of the United Soccer League, set up the visitor’s goal in a 1-1 tie. He was released following the 2008 season, along with another Burnaby native Alfredo Valente, due to “philosophical differences” with head coach Teitur Thordarson.
