On Aug. 28, I returned from emergency at Burnaby Hospital, parked my car on the street, took my walker out and placed it on the sidewalk. I then lay on the sidewalk to check the front end of the car. At that moment, bus 9614 came by. The driver stopped, and he and a male passenger came running to see if I was in any difficulty. I wish to commend the driver of the bus and the passenger who came to my assistance. Their concern is appreciated.
