Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan and a city delegation return today (Saturday) from China where they were this week as part of its sister- and friendship-city initiatives, partly funded by a $50,000 provincial grant. Corrigan led a delegation of city councillors, city staff, school trustees and board of trade representatives on a visit to Beijing and Tianjin. They also visited Dalian, where the mayor spoke at the World Economic Forum.
