Vancouver cop arrested for drunk driving

A long-serving member of the Vancouver Police Department was placed on administrative duty Monday morning after he was arrested in Burnaby early Sunday for impaired driving.
The off duty constable was stopped at a roadblock on the Trans-Canada Highway in Burnaby by the Port Mann Freeway Detachment of the RCMP which will be conducting the investigation.
The officer will remain on administrative duties pending the outcome of the investigation, says Vancouver police.
