Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who is a "person of interest" related to a serious sexual assault last week.

Just after midnight on Friday, Aug. 28, a 39-year-old woman was sleeping in her car, parked in the lot at the Brennan Park Recreation Center in Squamish, when an unknown man forced his way into her car.

She was held against her will for four hours until she was driven into the Burnaby where the suspect fled, leaving her in her car. During this period her bank card was used at the Bank of Montreal ATM located at 1460 Main St. in North Vancouver.

Anyone with information on the incident or the identity of the man seen using her bank card is asked to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922.
