Burnaby RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at Brentwood mall Thursday morning.
At about 11:40 a.m., four men entered Reid Jewellery wearing blue coveralls and masks, said Burnaby RCMP Corp. Brenda Gresiuk. They produced a weapon and then smashed display cases before leaving with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
There were several witnesses and calls to 911, who reported seeing the suspects flee in a pickup truck.
The pickup, which had been reported stolen in Burnaby earlier in the day, was recovered by police a couple blocks away. The suspects remain at large.
There were no injuries.
