People thinking about having a custom home built can attend a workshop Sept. 26, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Best Western Coquitlam Hotel & Conference Centre. Hosted by the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association, it will highlight the latest innovations in construction technology, design, and green initiatives. Cost is $70 or $120 per couple (plus GST) and includes lunch. Pre-register by Sept. 21 at 778-565-4288.
