High-tech goes soapbox near Deer Lake Park on Saturday.
Sixteen teams have been signed up by companies to participate in the Canary Soapbox Derby to raise funds for the B.C. Cancer Foundation. The event runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. down Deer Lake Drive to the park’s parking lot. There will also be a beer garden, barbecue and family area. For more information go to www.canaryderby.com.
